They are so much fun. I love the headphone jack for quiet practice. Quiet, but not silent, in case that matters to you. Plug this baby into a small amp, and you will have more entertainment than you can imagine. I bought a Roland Micro Cube to go along with this ukulele. The Micro Cube can be plugged into the wall or use on battery power (AA batteries last forever). This makes the whole set up completely portable to play without plug-ins.It all sounds fantastic together. The volume and tone controls on the uke work very well. It stays in tune, and even though I check it with a tuner before every practice- never needs tuning. It was been reliable for over a year - no problems or complaints. Buy one if you want a completely different sound than the traditional ukulele. It is basically a mini 4 string guitar. Mine came with Aquilla strings (I find to be the best). The case is well padded and fits the uke like a glove.
